ConnectED team members have been involved in many successful international multilateral projects.
Educational and scientific activities
The ConnectED team has many years of experience in adult education, vocational education and training and school education.
Many of our experts have been teachers and researchers in vocational schools and/or universities.
Promotion of modern IT in education
Our IT experts have extensive experience with online tools (e.g. websites, e-learning platform development, etc.), graphic design and augmented reality technologies such as virtual learning platforms and gamification.
Networking
We work with many national and international organisations in the field of education (e.g. schools, universities and NGOs) across Europe, public organisations, national equal opportunities centres and umbrella associations working in social inclusion, education, etc.
About us
ConnectED is an NGO established in the Czech Republic to work on the development of non-formal education.
The main goal of the association is to develop innovative systems and methods in education based on the principles of inclusion. It focuses mainly on adult education and vocational education and training in the fields of cultural heritage, the promotion of culture in Europe, youth education (especially in rural areas) and women’s entrepreneurship. ConnectED consists of dynamic and experienced staff who provide high quality services focused on the needs of youth, professionals from different fields (e.g. rural development advisors, social and cultural facilitators, etc.), cultural organisations and NGOs.
Based on the previous intensive experience of its founders, the association started to actively participate in international programmes through a well-established network of partners abroad. In general, the scope of ConnectED includes:
- Training activities for disadvantaged people and groups to increase their participation in the labour market and promote social inclusion.
- Developing rural development strategies with a focus on local production and preserving cultural heritage by promoting local products and regional crafts.
- Implementation of research activities and studies to identify the needs of disadvantaged groups from rural areas on issues related to promoting their employability, equal opportunities and sustainable rural development.
- Organising conferences and forums to raise awareness of local resources, rural social opportunities and traditional food production.
We assist in the preparation of applications for EU programmes such as Erasmus+, Horizon Europe and many others. ConnectED staff have many years of experience in adult education, VET and school education activities.
